Food For Childrens Parties by Low Jeremy(Contd. from page 1...)Enticing, for kids, means cartoony and colorful, so you can go play with food coloring if you want. Blue spaghetti? Why not? It may look icky for adults, but it could the one big factor that would get your young guests to devour it. You must also remember that kids are fussy eaters. Hence, you might want to hold off on the saucy meals and go for the simple finger foods that won't find their way into the children's clothing. Cut your food servings into bite size pieces so they won't have to struggle through it. Also, while you might be tempted to serve a lot of high-sugar foods and candies, you need to control them. You can compensate for the lack in sweets by using fun food coloring on breads, cupcakes and others. Of course, no fuss party food doesn't mean you shouldn't plan ahead. While most of these no fuss meals are easily available in supermarkets and bake shops, you have to be careful that none of the foods your serve contain potential allergens, like nuts. You won't be able to find out about each of your guests medical history (and it's a little rude to do so), so you just have to be on the safe side at the onset. Planning a children's birthday party requires a significant amount of effort on your part, not just with the entertainment and decorations, but also with the food. However, if it's your child's happiness that you have in mind, this shouldn't be a chore, at all.
