Teddy Bears often start out as a little present that progresses into a big part of someone's life. The Cookie Lady, Germaine Broussard, from McLean, VA, most known for sending over 50,000 cookies to America's troops, also embedded six "Battle Buddies," Teddy Bears dressed in camouflage, to an assortment of military personnel. These bears include Charlie in an Iraqi base, Bill Troop on the U.S.S. Eisenhower, and Jim Treat with the US Naval Sea Cadet Corp. These bears even go with their teams for calisthenics and drills.
