Educational toys come in a number of different sizes, shapes and price ranges. They don't have to cost a small fortune, either, to help a child develop thought processes, basic skills and more. They can even be handmade and still pack a real punch when it comes to helping a baby learn and grow.

Motor skills: Any toy that encourages your little one to open, push, pull, tug and so on can help develop motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
