Punching Harder - Punch Through Like a Hot Knife Into Butter by Keith Pascal

(Contd. from page 1...)

You can do this because of your power. If you are facing a fighter with his hands in a decent guard position, you know that with your power, you can punch through the smallest of openings. Your strike widens the opening.

Whether you are punching over and through, up and through from underneath, or wedging an opening to the side, you don't find much resistance getting to your attacker. Imagine a hammer busting through ... toothpicks. And when you happen to hit a vulnerable area, your punching harder will really work to your advantage.

All of this because you are heavy and know how to put your weight behind your punch. For you, the key to punching harder is tapping into the power that your body size can generate.

Elbow strikes and counters are especially suited for heavy martial artists -- nice short power techniques -- download my new, free ebooklet, Elbow Strikes and Counters

the birdie?"
His dad told him, "Son, the bird died and went to heaven."
Then the boy asked, '"And God threw him back down?"
